    One thing which has worked well for me, probably more because I have a 2 yr old daughter only, is diverting her attention away from whatever it is that was irritating her. Given that she is still a small one, it hardly takes 20 odd seconds on good days to divert her attention away.

    • That’s a great idea, Jairam, to distract. I’ve practiced that too, because children can simply dig in and be stubborn just for the fun of it, while parents get more and more frustrated. 🙂 Thank you for your comment. My son is 15 now, but I am learning every day!
