• “The basic nature of the child has been overcast, what remains is a cocktail of different characters, personalities and traits. ” – This is an extremely well-written and pertinent post. I am glad someone voiced these thoughts. The sad part is, this is always remain a pertinent post. Not much has changed/will change in the manner of us making our children “like” our kith and kin. Comparisons hurt the child’s psychology, and even produce hostility and jealousy in the young minds for their own cousins, neighbours, parents, etc. And sometimes, even the slightest attempt by the child to break those forced emulations is seen as impunity. We are but producing shadow beings! I wish this post reaches all the households it needs to!!
