As you pointed out, we do everything to make them independent, thinking individuals and when they are eager to experience life, we are too eager to jump in with a cautionary list. Of course, parents have to resist passing the sermon. It is never going to help. It never helped us ‘in our time’. We understand things better only when we go through it.
